Dawne HIckton is the Chair and CEO of Cumberland Additive, Inc., an innovative specialty metals additive manufacturing company specializing in new technologies for printing hard metals for aerospace, space and defense. She is also former Jacobs Corporate Executive Vice President & President of Critical Mission Solutions focused on providing support to NASA and other aerospace entities. Prior to joining Jacobs, Dawne served as the CEO of Pittsburgh-based RTI International Metals working with the metal industry and unions to provide titanium to the government and private companies. During her time as CEO at RTI International Metals, Inc., she was twice recognized by STEMconnector, a consortium of businesses that connects thought leaders on issues related to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Dawne Eileen Sepanski Hickton (born November 2, 1957) is an American business executive. She is the chief operating officer and president of the aerospace, technology and nuclear businesses of the Jacobs Engineering Group.[3] Before that, she was CEO of Pittsburgh-based RTI International Metals.[4][5][6]

Hickton is one of the few women business leaders to manage a large publicly traded firm.[7] In 2011-2012, she pursued numerous acquisitions to grow RTI into an end-to-end supplier of titanium components for clients such as Boeing and Airbus,[8][9][10][11] and for making components for the military aircraft such as the Joint Strike Fighter.[12] She pursued a strategy of buying specialty firms such as Remmele Engineering,[11][13][14][15] the Forming Division of Aeromet,[16][17] and others as part of a program of vertical integration.[17] In March, 2015, RT

Hickton, the former Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Critical Mission Solutions, a 5-billion-dollar government national security, cyber, and space consulting business at Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., led the Federal Government Relations, International Relations, and Technology and Innovation teams in addressing the growing demand for advanced, technology-driven solutions. Hickton is one of few women business leaders representing a large publicly traded firm.

Prior to Jacobs, Hickton was the first woman to run RTI International Metals, a global, publicly-traded, billion-dollar supplier of advanced titanium and specialty metals. Under her leadership, RTI evolved into one of the world’s largest metal manufacturers in the aerospace industry.
