Kappa Danielson was born in the beautiful Cumberland Valley, the first of identical twin girls raised on the music of Jim Croce, Loggins and Messina, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. After high school, and on a whim, she took vocal lessons with an Italian Metropolitan Opera tenor who taught her the Bel Canto method of singing. Marrying an Air Force pilot took her all across the country to North Carolina, California, Mississippi and eventually back to Maryland with four beautiful children.
She rediscovered her love for music at the bluegrass shop down the street from her Chesapeake Bay home. Kappa bought a Martin guitar, taught herself to play and attended weekly jam sessions, eventually joining a band and then forming her own with the help of her bluegrass friends. Encouraged by her sister, Charleston based singer-songwriter, Kristi Starr, she sat down late one night and discovered she also had a natural gift for songwriting.

American law professor
Jane Larson (1958–2011) was the Voss-Bascom Professor of Law at the University of Wisconsin Law School.[1]
Education and career
Born in Omaha, Nebraska,[2] Larson was a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Macalester College and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif and Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Inequality.[1]
Larson served as law clerk to two U.S. Judges. From 1985–1986 Larson clerked for Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Rosalie E. Wahl. During the 1986–1987 court term she clerked for Judge Theodore McMillian of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit.[1]
In 1987, Larson began working as an associate for the Washington D.C. branch of the law firm Powell, Goldstein, Frazer & Murphy.[1] In 1990 she joined the faculty of Northwestern University Law School, where she twice won the Robert Childs award for excellence in teaching.[3] Larson joined the faculty of the Uni
