Biography

Ben Kaufmann sets the strategic financial vision for MarketStar and directs our finance, accounting, and legal teams. Ben has deep experience in and a passion for the technology industry and in its capacity to unlock economic value by aggregating human intelligence to solve intractable problems.

Prior to joining MarketStar, Ben was the CFO for the $15B Global Enterprise Business at HPE where he led a successful turnaround of that business based on a three-pronged approach of aligning culture with strategy, re-engineering business process’ to drive transparency and accountability, and re-calibrating investment capacity to drive growth. During his time at HPE he also held leadership roles in organizations with financial and strategic accountability for Strategic Account Sales, Strategic Alliance Partnerships, Inside Sales, Pricing Strategy, Divestiture Management & M&A integration. Prior to HPE, Ben spent several years in transaction advisory roles in the mortgage banking and venture capital industries.

Benjamin Kauffmann (born 14 July 1988) is a German footballer who plays as a winger.[1]

Career

After playing in 1860 Munich's youth team, Kauffmann played for the reserve team of two Bavarian clubs, Wacker Burghausen, and later FC Ingolstadt 04. At Ingolstadt he was given his senior debut, playing for the first-team in a 2. Bundesliga match against Hertha BSC at the Olympiastadion in October 2010. He came on as a substitute for Moritz Hartmann for the last seven minutes of a 3–1 defeat to the eventual champions.

Kauffmann signed for Potsdam club SV Babelsberg 03 in July 2011. He scored in each of his first two appearances, and made 42 appearances for the club in eighteen months before he returned to Bavaria in January 2013 to sign for SpVgg Unterhaching. A year later he signed for Goslarer SC.

Hi, this is Ben Kaufmann. I started playing music as a child in much the same way other children start playing music: by banging around on the piano. Was it good music? No, probably not. But it was a start. My father, John, was a musician. In fact, my mom and dad met at one of dad’s rock band’s shows in Pittsburgh, PA. The band was called Sanctuary and, if you believe anything I say, it totally rocked. I have the tapes to prove it.

Some of my earliest memories are of listening to my father’s Big Band rehearsing. Oh, the stories I’ve heard of those wonderful days when schools taught Music to Children!
