Mos Def's message to world via Kanye after South Africa 'arrest'
Rapper and actor Mos Def has responded to reports that he was arrested in South Africa at the weekend.
Mos, who's also known as Yasiin Bey, was detained for using an unidentifiable "world passport" when he tried to leave the country.
He posted an audio message on Kanye West's Twitter page, calling his fellow rapper "a real friend".
On the recording he says: "I committed no crime any place, why these police in my face?"

South Africa's department of home affairs said the star entered the country in 2013 as an American, but had overstayed on his visa.
In a statement, officials say Mos, whose real name is Dante Terrell Smith, and a number of members of his family had done the same.
"Further investigation into the matter revealed that Mr Smith's wife, mother and four children had overstayed and were sojourning in the country illegally.

Dante Terrell Smith was born on December 11, 1973, to Sheron Smith and Abdul Rahman Smith in Brooklyn, New York. Smith began rapping at the age of nine, and by the age of fourteen, he became a child actor, appearing in the ABC network television movie God Bless The Child
