President of ILUSEC ’96 family (an arm of Ilupeju Secondary School of Old Students Association), Engr. Kazeem Okunnu has lost his father, Alhaji Yusuf Babatunde Okunnu at the age of 83 years.

He died in the early hours of Saturday, November 23, 2024, and he was buried according to Islamic rite in his residence at Ikotun – Abaranje area of Lagos State.

Speaking on his demise, Engr. Okunnu said his late father was a successful cleric and Chief Imam who dedicated his life to serving Almighty Allah and mankind, taking care of the needy and the less privileged.

According to him, ‘’My father lived a very fulfilled life as a devout Muslim and dedicated his life to serving Almighty Allah. He was the Chief Imam of Nawair-Ud-Deen Society, Mushin/Oshodi Branch, Lagos State where he empowered many people through his knowledge’’

‘’He will be greatly missed for his impact on the society and especially the community he lived in,’’ Okunnu Added.

The 8-day Fidau prayer will come up on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at his residence, Ikot
